Economic growth in India has been strong over the past decade, especially in the information technology sector. But this rising tide has not lifted all boats. Significant disparities remain, with a large number of children still living in deprived conditions.

India: For some,no hope of a better life.

Millions of Indians still live in desperate poverty with no chance of bettering themselves. While the caste system is no longer as rigid as it was a century ago, it still determines the destiny of millions. In Mumbai, for example, almost everyone who works at the world’s biggest laundry, Dhobi Ghat, comes from the Dhobi, the washerman caste.

MY PERSONAL OPINION

Positive aspects
I would like live in Norway because there are many good job options, I think it would be healthy to live in another country and meet new people. I also like the landscapes they have.

Negative aspects
The negatives would be being separated from my family and friends.
